## Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Wards department at Fairfield Independent Hospital. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern including day and night shifts.

The successful candidate will deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols, assess patient needs, and maintain accurate nursing documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols

- Assessing patient needs, prioritising care, and updating care plans accordingly

- Maintaining accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation

- Communicating effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and carers

- Supporting patients in understanding their condition, treatments, and recovery processes

- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality, safe, and efficient care

- Identifying and reporting incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks in line with hospital procedures

To be considered for this role, you should have:

- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult)

- Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting

- Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Proficiency in IT systems used for patient records, documentation, and care planning
