## Description

Mastercard is seeking a Director, Specialist Sales to build and grow commercial partnerships with Financial Institutions for its Open Banking services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with partners to drive profitable revenue growth, working closely with internal teams to architect and implement innovative financial services offerings.

Key responsibilities include:

- Building strong internal relationships and communication channels within the Open Banking team and broader Mastercard organization

- Analyzing client needs and developing thoughtful solutions to pursue business opportunities

- Managing the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract execution

- Integrating Open Banking priorities into Mastercard's strategic account planning framework

- Building and managing a robust pipeline of prospects and clients

- Achieving and exceeding assigned sales quotas

The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organizational and personal skills to communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders

- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives

- Proven track record of achieving success through complex relationships and multi-tier distribution channels

- Solid understanding of clients' top Open Banking use cases spanning payments and lending

- Good working knowledge of technology, including APIs, cloud-based infrastructure, and microservices

In terms of compensation, Mastercard offers a competitive base salary, annual bonus or commissions, and a range of benefits, including insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid leaves, and a 401k with company match.

Salary ranges for this position are:

- Purchase, New York: $178,000 - $259,000 USD

- Arlington, Virginia: $178,000 - $259,000 USD

- Atlanta, Georgia: $155,000 - $225,000 USD

- Boston, Massachusetts: $178,000 - $259,000 USD
