## Description

We are seeking an experienced Audio Systems Lead Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As an Audio Systems Lead Engineer, you will lead the development and delivery of best-in-class performance for branded and non-branded audio systems.

You will work closely with Ford audio component engineers and cross-functional teams, including vehicle program, electrical, software, acoustics, design, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing partners, to align system requirements, resolve integration challenges, and deliver a cohesive in-vehicle listening experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading structured problem resolution for DEMS, VOCF, and FCPA audit issues

- Using CAN tools to flash audio-system DSPs and diagnose system interactions

- Delivering audio-system commitments to program GPDS milestones

- Supporting prototype builds across various phases

- Conducting vehicle-level DV and overseeing testing led by audio SMEs

- Partnering closely with the Core Team to develop, review, and resolve specification issues and concerns

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering

- At least two years of design and release experience

- Experience with Ford systems and processes

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Familiarity with one or more technical areas, such as acoustics and equalization, thermal management, power amplification, software development, vehicle CAN communications, and electronic-module packaging
