## Description

We are seeking a Communications Network Engineer Mid to join our SMIT-MCEN program at Camp Pendleton, CA. As a Communications Network Engineer, you will evaluate communication hardware and software, troubleshoot Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and resolve other network-related problems.

The SMIT program is the largest IT services program for the Navy, delivering the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport.

Key responsibilities include:

- Scheduling conversions and cutovers

- Administering LAN/BAN/WANs

- Coordinating with all responsible users and sites

To qualify, you must have:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field (experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)

- An active Security+ certification

- At least 4 years of relevant experience

- US Citizenship with an active DoD Top-Secret/SCI clearance

- Specialized experience in network performance and configuration, as well as integration and testing of complex large-scale computer integrated networks

The pay range for this position is $73,450.00 - $132,775.00.
