As a Reverse Logistics Expert, you will have knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store. You will also have experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency, and improvement. Your typical day will include: - Receiving deliveries using the receive application and processing all inbound store transfers to ensure inventory accuracy - Ensuring Direct to Store Deliveries (DSD) and Advance Direct to Store Deliveries (ADSD) are accurately received following outlined processes - Following up daily to ensure all unacknowledged deliveries have been received - Accurately handling all freight shipments related paperwork and making shipping arrangements when necessary - Executing donations, Central Return Center (CRC), electronics recycling, transfer orders, salvage, and inventory removals (IRs) in compliance with all DOT regulations and best methods - Identifying and handling environmentally sensitive item management (ESIM) in the reverse logistics area in compliance with applicable laws and regulations - Processing vendor credits and damaged/defective items accurately and in a timely manner to minimise shortage and compliance risk - Maintaining all invoices and documentation per record retention guidelines pertaining to deliveries, ESIM waste pickups, and all outbound shipments - Operating powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise - Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance - Supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive Up - Creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests and engaging with them in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs We are looking for someone who: - Enjoys interacting and helping others, including guests and fellow team members - Thrives in a fast-moving, highly active, and physically demanding role where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem-solving are key to success - Is open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak shopping times) Requirements: - Must be at least 18 years of age or older - Previous receiving or reverse logistics experience preferred but not required - Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members - Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed - Ability to work both independently and with a team - Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes - Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes Benefits: Find competitive benefits from financial and education to well-being and beyond at https://corporate.target.com/careers/benefits.
