## Description

This job delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). You will be a key contributor to PayPal's AI-powered tooling initiative, designing and building intelligent systems that enhance the productivity, reliability, and velocity of Venmo's Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps engineering teams.

**Responsibilities:**

- Contribute to infrastructure features and automation under guidance of senior engineers

- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, and escalate as appropriate

- Write automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code to improve operational efficiency

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, self-service tooling, and microservices scaffolding

- Learn and apply best practices in cloud engineering, DevOps, and SRE

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s in computer science or related field of study

- 1+ years’ experience in software development or a related field

- Some experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) or container technologies

- Programming and scripting experience (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)

- Exposure to containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
