## Description

We are seeking a Finance and Reporting Business Manager to support Finance activity, including allocation processes, Short-Term Plan and Outlooks.

The successful candidate will bring a strong control mindset, attention to detail, and customer focus, while supporting business analysis, requirements capture, process mapping, and design in a changing environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide strategic insight and thought leadership on implementation of Target Operating Model, business development, and financial and non-financial resource allocation.

- Offer strategic support to and oversight of demand pipeline and book of work, including assistance in development and execution of strategic initiatives, projects, research, and analysis to support decision-making.

- Support operational efficiency and colleague/customer/client experience within the organisation, including identification of areas for improvement, streamlining of processes, and implementation of best practices.

- Manage people plan, talent development, and succession planning, including identification of high-potential employees and provision of mentorship and guidance.

- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, manage communication channels, and ensure effective coordination across different departments and teams.

- Participate in compliance activities, such as SMR and other regulatory registrations/certifications, and support crisis management and risk mitigation.

**Requirements:**

- Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).

- Full understanding of Finance activity, including Allocation process, Short-Term Plan and Outlooks.

- Fully proficient with Microsoft tooling to support analysis, reporting, and presenting.

- Strong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Business analysis skills to enable requirements capture and interpretation, including process mapping and design.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with experience of working with senior stakeholders.

**Nice to Have:**

- Tech savvy, with an interest in opportunities technology provides for quality, efficiency, automation, and accuracy.

- Awareness of Compliance Technology reporting applications, including Copilot, Tableau, SQL, and Alteryx.

- Understanding of Project Management lifecycle.

- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage a learning curve.

- Self-starter who proactively takes on additional tasks and ad-hoc activity as requested.

- Clear focus on the customer.
