## Description

Join the Personalization team at Spotify and contribute to building the systems and models that help us understand culture in real time. As an AI Foundation Engineer on the Zeitgeist squad, you will design, build, and ship agentic systems that ground personalized listening experiences in cultural context and world knowledge. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists, and product partners to turn signals into meaningful user experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and building agentic systems that incorporate cultural context and world knowledge

- Developing and maintaining pipelines for extracting, structuring, and serving cultural signals at scale

- Partnering with teams across Personalization to integrate foundational cultural data and tech into new agentic listening experiences

- Owning components end-to-end, from data pipelines and model training to production serving and monitoring

- Designing and building evaluation tooling, including LLM-as-judge frameworks and dataset analysis

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience building and shipping machine learning models end-to-end. You should have a strong foundation in Python and experience with GCP tools, such as Dataflow and BigQuery. Hands-on experience with LLMs and agent orchestration frameworks is also required. You should be comfortable operating as a 0-to-1 builder and thrive in ambiguous, exploratory spaces.
