About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR People Ops professional to join our team in Palo Alto. As HR People Ops North America, you will oversee daily HR operations, coordinate employee benefits administration, and lead HR projects with external vendors. You will also ensure legal compliance and mitigate the company's risk by having a basic understanding of relevant employment laws.

Responsibilities

- Admin & HR compliance: Oversee daily HR operations concerning employee inquiries to ensure prompt and effective responses. Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries. Coordinate visas for new hires and for teams' work trip abroad. Lead HR project with external vendors to deliver the best services to our Employees. Ensure legal compliance and mitigate the Company's risk by having a basic understanding of relevant employment laws. Maintain employee handbooks.

- Onboarding: Ensure we are able to onboard our new joiners the best way; any information that is relevant to our HR systems, Office and Managers. Formalize contractual elements during all the employees' journey (labor contracts, amendments, certificates). Take care of our HR information and tasks and update them each time it is needed.

- Payroll: Prepare and process payroll for employees in the North America region to ensure our employees will be paid on time. Lead any process optimization initiatives (automation, providers benchmark, etc.).

- HR project management: Explore, implement, and refine people-related projects, procedures, and best practices that reflect our values and foster a positive company culture. Process optimization: Continuously improve, document, and streamline HR processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Open new countries from an HR perspective, deploying employee benefits administration.

About You

- Experience: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 8-15 years of progressive HR experience, ideally including experience in a startup or high-growth environment.

- Profile: Proficiency in streamlining HR processes to enhance efficiency, improve employee experience, and maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations. Outstanding service mindset. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in HR technology solutions, such as HRIS, Payroll, ...
