The Regional Manager – Automotive oversees the automotive operations, inclusive of achievement and sales targets and performance of the automotive sales teams across the assigned region. A region will encompass multiple states and territories in the ANZ business.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring the profitable sales of the company's products through all automotive sales programs, promotions, and objectives.

- Overseeing the acquisition of new business by increasing customer numbers and increasing the range of business to existing customers.

- Mentoring and coaching the Automotive Field Sales Manager and sales team members to maximise everyone's potential.

- Monitoring and reporting the sales performance of sales personnel.

- Assisting and promoting the development of new selling techniques in each sector.

Primary interactions include liaising with internal management, internal suppliers, head office management, National Customer Service Manager, Warehouse Manager, and coordinating sales, admin, and supply chain activities in the state.

What you bring to the role includes a tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business discipline, 5 years' experience in a sales team management role, and considerable experience in lubrication or FMCG industry.

Competencies desired include proven high-level sales results and experience, proven strategic management experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Working conditions include a general office setting and driving in a motor vehicle. Travel requirements include frequent travel, with customer meetings expected most days of the week, including up to 10% overnight travel per month.
