## Description

We are seeking a qualified Facilities Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Marysville, Ohio. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 0-6 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial facilities, utilities, or related environments.

The Facilities Engineer's primary responsibilities include:

- Leading continuous improvement initiatives for facility mechanical systems

- Supporting the operation and reliability of facility mechanical systems

- Maintaining and managing documentation for facility mechanical systems

- Reviewing, updating, and maintaining electrical and mechanical drawings

- Ensuring building mechanical systems meet customer capacity, performance, and reliability requirements

- Developing and managing project schedules, scopes of work, budgets, and approval workflows

- Evaluating, recommending, and implementing innovative engineering solutions and technologies

- Creating detailed project scopes and supporting project planning

- Managing contractor bidding, evaluation, selection, and coordination

- Developing project budgets and investment proposals

- Supervising engineers, contractors, and project teams

- Generating and maintaining project tracking documentation

- Training Facilities associates on mechanical and electrical system enhancements

- Developing and maintaining technical reference materials and standard operating procedures

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, experience supporting facility infrastructure systems and capital improvement projects, and understanding of equipment reliability programs.
