## Description

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team in the Rehabilitation department at Circle Rehabilitation in Birmingham. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week with a flexible shift pattern.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with nursing, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy teams to deliver rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting with mobility and positioning, including the safe use of hoists and mobility aids

- Helping patients engage in purposeful activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional recovery

- Acting as a key worker for assigned patients, advocating for their needs and ensuring consistent delivery of care plans

- Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-prepared therapeutic environment

- Taking responsibility for own learning through active participation in supervision, training, and appraisal processes

To be considered for this role, applicants should meet one of the following criteria:

- Diploma/Degree in a Sport Related subject and relevant experience working in a MSK Rehabilitation setting

- Level 2/3 gym/instructor/personal trainer or level 3 exercise referral/level 4 qualification/equivalent with experience delivering group sessions

- Experience of working as part of a Physiotherapy team or within the fitness industry, with at least 150 hours previous experience of working with specialist populations

- Full UK driving license
