## Description

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan in San Antonio, TX. As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and families in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

- Provide basic patient care and support to patients and families

- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with patient care tasks

- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
