## Description

The Role Square's Strategic Finance team partners with go-to-market leaders to ensure commercial decisions drive growth and profitability. As a Senior Analyst on the Pricing & Monetization team, you will shape pricing for Square's largest partnerships.

Responsibilities:

- Advise on complex deals: Partner cross-functionally to build custom pricing and incentive proposals for major brands.

- Set pricing guardrails: Design portfolio-level pricing targets and deal-level guardrails that enable teams to move quickly while protecting margins.

- Scale the operating model: Build and refine processes for pricing and approving large deals across multiple teams.

- Track the market: Analyze pricing trends across Square's portfolio and the broader payments industry, and turn findings into recommendations.

- Present to leadership: Turn complex models into clear recommendations for senior leaders.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

- Advanced financial modeling skills, including building P&L and unit economics models from scratch.

- Sound commercial judgment when weighing growth, margin, and risk in a deal.

- Experience building trusted relationships with senior leaders and presenting analysis and recommendations that shape their decisions.

- A track record of owning projects end-to-end, from framing the question to implementing the decision.

- A habit of building repeatable systems rather than one-off answers, and comfort using AI tools to scale work.
