## Description

We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Cyber Security to join our team at Capital One. As a Cyber Security Professional, you will evaluate cyber capabilities, threat intelligence, and risk management to drive cybersecurity governance, capability maturation, and risk transformation.

**Responsibilities:**

- Lead, mentor, and develop associates by setting clear expectations, providing actionable feedback, and supporting career progression

- Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert and advise on best practices in risk reduction through the configuration of cybersecurity tools and platforms

- Support the development, modification, and use of capability, risk, and/or threat classification frameworks and standardization methodologies

- Support the development, implementation, and execution of continuous improvement programs

- Lead solutioning for, and manage activities in response to, large-scale enterprise risk reduction efforts

- Effectively communicate the impact of identified operational, compliance, process, control, and tooling gaps to multiple audiences

- Lead cross-domain cybersecurity risk assessments and capability reviews

- Influence and coordinate risk reduction initiatives across multiple cyber programs

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's Degree

- At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology

- At least 6 years of experience evaluating, contributing to, or supporting development of cybersecurity capabilities

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- 7+ years of experience with cybersecurity frameworks and concepts

- 7+ years of experience performing analysis of or developing solutions for cyber threats, vulnerabilities, risks, or events

- 7+ years of experience working on teams and presenting to stakeholders cybersecurity information

- 6+ years of experience working in multi-cloud environments

- 6+ years of experience using security tools

- 3+ years of experience developing or interpreting cybersecurity metrics or dashboards

- 3+ years of people management experience

- 2+ years of experience developing or overseeing cybersecurity or technology risk programs

**Salary Information:**

- McLean, VA: $229,900 - $262,400 per year

- New York, NY: $250,800 - $286,200 per year

- Plano, TX: $209,000 - $238,500 per year

- Richmond, VA: $209,000 - $238,500 per year
