## Description

As a Senior Platform Manager, Trust and Safety at Airbnb, you will identify customer pain points, business opportunities, and define/deliver the products that help create a safe and trusted community around the world.

The Trust & Safety team builds cutting-edge machine learning models to detect risk, defenses to deter risky actors, and operations tools that enable investigators worldwide. You will be focused on Safety, aiming to reduce safety incidents such as interpersonal harm and illegal activities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Creating vision and strategy for Trust & Safety products and platforms

- Leading a cross-functional working group of engineers, data scientists, designers, operations experts, and policy experts

- Maintaining product backlog and roadmap, prioritizing solutions based on business value and customer impact

- Defining goals and success with measurable objectives and key results

- Building alignment across product teams and Leadership/Executive teams

- Anticipating bottlenecks, making trade-offs, and balancing business needs, customer needs, and technical or operational constraints

- Presenting product roadmap and status to the business and Airbnb leadership

- Evaluating new product opportunities and proposing solutions

- Developing short-term plans aligned with long-term goals

Requirements:

- 5+ years of product management experience

- Prior experience in product, operations, or engineering in trust, safety, risk, or fraud

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

- Experience building machine learning products or technical product management

- Experience in design and hypothesis-driven product development

- Entrepreneurial drive to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment

- Exceptional collaboration, partnership, and influencing skills

This position is US - Remote Eligible, with a base pay range of $179,000-$207,000 USD.
