## Description

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a General Maintenance technician based at Richmond Raceway.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and track services duties. This will involve operating a variety of equipment, basic office systems knowledge, and providing general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe facility.

Key responsibilities include:

- Performing preventive maintenance functions, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance/repairs

- Welding, cutting, and fabricating

- Testing repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiency

- Requisitioning parts and equipment with supervisor's approval

- Maintaining records and reports

- Providing general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe facility

- Preparing, maintaining, and restoring the track

- Cleaning the track, including sweeping, blowing, and washing

- Performing general maintenance around the facility, including painting

- Operating and maintaining various pieces of equipment, including vehicles, lifts, and heavy machinery

- Installing and storing signage throughout the property

- Assisting with fleet management and inventory

The ideal candidate will have:

- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

- Two years' experience and/or training in building services or business operations

- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, utilities, and facility maintenance

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to perform hands-on work and safely move equipment and materials

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required for events

- A valid driver's license in good standing and a clean driving record
