As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience. Your main priorities will be to ensure that products are available and easy to shop, replenish stock, price and sign merchandise, and maintain the sales floor and backroom.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver exceptional guest service, greeting guests, and resolving issues promptly

- Execute daily tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, and organising the backroom

- Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified

- Learn and execute operational procedures to manage product accuracy and stock levels

- Follow all Target policies and safety procedures

- Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfilment processes

Requirements:

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members

- Ability to communicate effectively and operate technology equipment

- Capability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes

- Physical demands include lifting up to 44 pounds, climbing ladders, and standing for long periods
