## Description

As an LGV 2 Driver with Biffa Waste Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of local environments and communities. You will be part of a single-person crew, responsible for driving various LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £16.86, with shifts running from Monday to Friday, starting at 04:30 am. In return, you will receive:

**Responsibilities**

- Drive LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers

- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects

- Safely manoeuvre and operate large rigid vehicles

- Maintain good communication and customer service skills

- Adhere to health and safety procedures

**Requirements**

- Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

- Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card

- Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety

- Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects

- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements

- Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Good awareness of health & safety procedures
