## Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and capable Shipping Specialist to support the efficient handling of customer-provided materials, purchased materials, and internal shipping requests at GenScript Biotech Corporation.

This role is based fully onsite in Piscataway, NJ and pays approximately $24 - $25 per hour, based on experience. The schedule is Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM with a 1 hour lunch.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly packaged, labelled, and prepared for dispatch in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

- Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage the physical handling of items, ensuring safe and secure packaging of products.

- Prepare and verify shipping documents while maintaining accurate records.

- Collaborate with internal teams to address shipping-related issues.

- Inspect shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.

- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as assigned.

- Perform other duties as required based on business needs.

Requirements:

- Education: Minimum high school diploma, an associate’s or higher degree in supply chain management or a relevant field is preferred.

- Skills and Experience:

- Strong organizational, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong time-management skills.

- Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently.

- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.

- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with personnel at multiple levels within the organization.

- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and meet customers and management expectations.

- Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
