## Description

The fertilizer team at Argus Media is looking for an experienced Senior Nitrogen Manager to lead their portfolio of nitrogen-related subscription services. The successful candidate will have an ambitious and high-profile mandate to materially grow the existing $ multi-million client base.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Management and innovation of the Nitrogen Analytics portfolio:

- Build and execute a strategy that cements Argus as the market leader in nitrogen analysis;

- Ensure the team delivers its numerous complex short-to-long term publications;

- Represent Argus Analytics as a nitrogen subject matter expert to c-suite clients and wider stakeholders;

- Continuously innovate the form, format and methodologies that underpin the team’s deliverables;

- Engage with Argus’s AI and data science teams to create new analytical techniques and products.

- Business development:

- Engage with the top echelons of nitrogen industry participants to grow Analytics’ client base;

- Support Argus’s commercial organisation to identify and secure prospects;

- Position the nitrogen team within Argus’ and external conferences to promote Analytics services;

- Work collaboratively with other adjacent sectors.

- People and knowledge development:

- Manage and develop an international team of subject matter experts;

- Act as a senior role model for analysts across the wider Analytics business.

**Skills and Experience sought**

- Market authority, gained through 15+ years of nitrogen fertilizer industry experience;

- Capable of representing Argus with senior levels of industry;

- Intellectually curious at a global scale;

- Demonstrable commercial acumen;

- Highly numerate with experience analysing comprehensive datasets.
