## Description

This role oversees inventory management activities for assigned departments or clinical programs at Intermountain Health's American Fork Hospital.

Key duties include distributing and managing supplies to ensure medical products, linens, and equipment are adequately stocked and ready for clinical use.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day inventory for the assigned department, facility, or clinical program, ensuring seamless operations and availability of necessary supplies.

**Schedule:** Part-time (Tuesday-Saturday), 7:00am - 12:00pm, 24 hours per week

**Essential Functions:**

- Perform inventory control on stock and non-stock items, setting par levels and adjusting to trends.

- Order and deliver supplies for assigned departments, facilities, or clinical programs using appropriate technology and systems.

- Communicate information concerning supply levels, new products, and implementation to department staff.

- Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems.

- Manage Par Location, PIRS Replenishment, Location Maintenance, Delivery, Label maintenance, and Kanban visuals.

- Monitor quantity on hand issues, reconcile and solve discrepancies.

- Ensure compliance with policy and standard operating procedures.

- Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports for assigned locations.

**Requirements:**

- Six months of related Materials Management experience.

- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, email, and scheduling applications.

- Ability to use a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- One year of healthcare-related distribution experience.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, and monitors.

- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors.

- Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment.

- Expected to bend, lift, and carry patient files, documents, equipment, and supplies.
