## Description

We're seeking an experienced backend software engineer to join our Live Pay team. As a member of our team, you'll work cross-functionally with various teams to design and develop key platform services. You'll need to be strong in JVM programming languages and event-driven architecture, in addition to AWS.

Your responsibilities will include driving the design and implementation of new features, creating high-quality, maintainable code, and collaborating with other engineers. You'll also work cross-functionally with other teams, including data science, design, product, marketing, and analytics.

To succeed in this role, you'll need 4+ years of development experience in software engineering, proficiency in at least one JVM programming language, and experience with major frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot. You'll also need hands-on experience with SQL databases, cloud environments, and streaming and messaging technologies.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $199,000-$244,000, plus equity and benefits. The role will be hybrid from our Vancouver office, with 2 days a week in the office required.
