## Description

Join the Intermountain Specialty Pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician. This full-time role involves assisting pharmacists, providing customer service, and utilizing pharmacy technology. Top candidates have retail pharmacy experience, especially in specialty pharmacy, prior authorizations, insurance reviews, and call center expertise.

**Essential Functions:**

- Assist pharmacists with pharmacy services under supervision

- Provide excellent customer service and answer phones

- Collect clinical patient information and maintain records

- Utilize pharmacy technology for medication orders and compounding

- Accurately fill and maintain medication supplies

**Requirements:**

- High school or equivalent required

- Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license

- Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Retail pharmacy experience

- Specialty pharmacy experience

- Prior authorization and insurance review experience

- Call center experience
