## Description

This role is designed as a launchpad for future sellers at OpenAI. As a Business Development Representative, you will identify, shape, and advance complex enterprise opportunities by turning product usage, pilots, and inbound demand into qualified, high-conviction enterprise opportunities for our Large Enterprise and Strategic Accounts teams.

You will partner with Account Directors on account strategy, multi-threading, and deal progression. You will design and execute targeted outbound strategies using industry context, stakeholder mapping, and product signal to break into priority accounts.

You will lead high-quality discovery to uncover business priorities, map stakeholders, and assess enterprise readiness. You will contribute to pipeline reviews by sharing outbound activity, account insights, and early competitive signals.

You will build and iterate on AI-enabled GTM workflows (GPTs/agents) to scale prospecting and qualification.

You may thrive in this role if you have 4+ years of relevant experience in enterprise sales, or in strategic customer-facing roles in the finance or consulting industry. You should have a track record of consistently hitting and exceeding ambitious targets in enterprise or strategic sales environments.

You should experience selling into regulated or complex industries (Financial Services, Life Sciences, Retail). You should have strong communication skills and executive presence; able to build credibility with senior C-Suite stakeholders across an organization, and speak fluently with technical buyers.

You should have a strong interest in the AI landscape with the ability to connect OpenAI products to real customer value and business outcomes. You should enjoy evangelizing new technology and helping the market understand what’s possible.

You should be comfortable with ambiguity, moving quickly, and operating well with a high degree of ownership.
