## Description

As a Speech-Language Pathologist with The Menta Education Group at Fresh Start Academy, a therapeutic day school in Havana, Illinois, you will work with students to provide speech-language assistance according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

**Responsibilities:**

- Supervise students individually and in groups, ensuring their behaviour aligns with program expectations.

- Provide educational direction and support during times of confusion, frustration, or emotional upset.

- Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for your student caseload.

- Deliver Speech-Language related service minutes as specified on the IEP.

- Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly.

- Participate in compensated intrastate travel as required.

**Qualifications:**

- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited university program.

- Current Speech-Language Pathology license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).

- Clinical Competency Certification (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
