You will review documentation and assign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes and modifiers as applicable. **Responsibilities:** - Navigate Epic EMR, including applicable reports and work queues - Evaluate and resolve coding edits in Charge Review, Claim Edit, and Follow-up work queues in Epic - Assign CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and modifiers based on medical record documentation - Evaluate coding bundling guidelines and modifier usage - Understand the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule - Communicate coding trends and provider education opportunities to coding leadership - Communicate effectively with providers via Epic in-basket message and email - Work within Microsoft Office Suite products and Optum Encoder Pro - Provide education and training for medical providers and coders - Perform quality assurance audits within specialty team - Ensure compliance with coding regulations and guidelines - Monitor and evaluate coding workflows to identify areas for improvement - Utilise coding knowledge to investigate and respond to coding requests - Promote Intermountain Health's mission, vision, and values **Benefits:** - Generous benefits package covering health, happiness, security, connection, and engagement **Requirements:** - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum 5 years of pro fee coding experience, with at least 3 years in assigned specialty service line - Preferred 7+ years of related coding experience - Required credential: CPC or CCS-P - Preferred related specialty coding credential - Requires E/M coding and experience coding for assigned specialty - Prefer previous experience using Epic and working work queues ## Skills ### Required - CPT - HCPCS - ICD-10 coding - Epic - Microsoft Office suite ### Nice to have - Prior Epic/PB Resolute experience - related specialty coding credential --- Source: [Apply at imh.wd108.myworkdayjobs.com](https://imh.wd108.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/IntermountainCareers/job/Lake-Park-Building/PB-Coding-Coordinator_R183160?utm_source=yubhub.co&utm_medium=jobs_feed&utm_campaign=apply)
