## Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Inpatients/Day Case department at Bath Clinic. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, where you will supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, prioritizing care, and updating care plans accordingly. You will also be required to monitor vital signs, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns using clinical judgment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols

- Assessing patient needs, prioritizing care, and updating care plans

- Monitoring vital signs, recognizing changes in condition, and escalating concerns

- Administering medications safely and effectively in accordance with hospital policies and the NMC Code

- Maintaining accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation

- Ensuring that all care provided complies with NMC standards, clinical governance requirements, and hospital policies

- Identifying and reporting incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks

To be considered for this role, you should have:

- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult)

- Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting

- Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Proficiency in IT systems used for patient records, documentation, and care planning

- Previous experience in a relevant specialty desirable
