## Description

As a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Electrical, you will play a key role in enabling development and production flow of Anduril's critical supply base. You will work closely with internal engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing departments, as well as directly with suppliers, to execute effective, creative, and smart supply chain strategies to achieve production goals.

Your primary responsibility will be to own and manage electrical commodities and subcategories, such as cables, harnesses, capacitors, connectors, PCB/PCBA, chips, etc., to execute supplier production strategies across Anduril's business lines.

Key responsibilities include:

- Owning and managing electrical commodities and subcategories to execute supplier production strategies

- Being a force multiplier for the Supply Chain team and overall commodity strategy

- Vetting suppliers' production capabilities, factory layout, facilities, and workforce for inclusion in the Approved Supplier List

- Supporting Supply Chain Product Sourcing Engineers, Supply Chain Global Strategic Sourcing Management, and Supplier Quality Engineers in ensuring suppliers' understanding and adherence to quality criteria set by Supplier Quality Engineers

- Bringing up new production tooling and lines, development at supplier sites to ensure materials, processes, and tools meet product performance, quality, and demand requirements

- Owning capacity expansion readiness and production ramp-up at supplier sites

- Establishing and driving process performance and controls reviews at supplier sites

- Identifying and driving product and process improvements, factory layout optimisation at supplier sites to lower part cost, reduce supply risk, eliminate potential defects, and improve cycle time over the product lifecycle

You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results. Your expertise in supplier quality and industrialization will be crucial in achieving Anduril's goals.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field

- 6+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment

- Experience with specific category technical expertise, as applicable, electronics manufacturing, SMT processing, GD&T

- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time

- Ability to relocate, if not already local, to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA

Preferred qualifications include:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field

- Previous experience in defence, aerospace, automotive, high-tech, or another related industry

- Strong understanding of quality systems, standards, and certifications

- Familiarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment

- Exposure to working in a fast-pacing, start-up environment

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

US Salary Range: $146,000-$194,000 USD
