## Description

We are seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of supervisors and warehouse staff on assigned shifts to meet productivity, quality, safety, and shipping targets.

Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of 4-6 supervisors and up to 250 warehouse staff to achieve targets

- Partner with Ops Manager and support teams to meet business goals

- Promote a positive culture and maintain high levels of quality, safety, and performance

- Assist in operations and work with management team

- Shift plan and labor share according to daily goals and order numbers

- Facilitate communication between shifts to ensure teamwork

- Provide direction to supervisors and leads

- Track attendance and approve timecards

- Coach and train associates on procedures

- Resolve employee relations matters and conflicts

- Monitor productivity and make recommendations

- Administer progressive discipline

- Help contributors understand company vision and priorities

- Ensure team member safety

- Uphold company policies and professional behavior

- Problem-solve in real-time

- Work with Warehouse Management Software

- Collaborate with other managers and leads

- Have a flexible schedule for management coverage

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a distribution center

- 1 year of operations experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

- Effective communication and problem-solving skills

- Experience with shift planning, basic math, and Excel formulas

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Workday (preferred)

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow procedures

Physical Demands:

- Walk or stand for 8-10 hours

- Lift up to 50 lbs

- Pallet jack experience

- Perform various physical tasks

- Overtime required during peak season
