## Description

We are seeking a Vice President (VP) Data Business Analyst to join our team at Barclays. As a VP Data Business Analyst, you will support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

**Accountabilities:**

- Identify and analyse business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.

- Develop business requirements that address business problems and opportunities.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.

- Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.

- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.

- Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

- Create operational design and process design to ensure proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.

- Support change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

**Vice President Expectations:**

- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change.

- Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.

- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work of your team.

- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation's functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.

- Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and business strategies.

- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought, comparing and selecting complex alternatives.

**Basic/Essential Qualifications:**

- Act as the primary liaison for senior stakeholders across technology, operations, and business units.

- Influence decision-making and secure alignment on product priorities and investments.

- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritisation and timely delivery.

- Hands-on experience in EDP technology, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.

- Oversee release planning, sprint prioritisation, and coordination of cross-team dependencies.

- Ensure adherence to data governance principles, privacy regulations, and security standards.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and delivery.

- Track adoption, usage, and performance metrics to assess product success.

- Recommend enhancements based on data-driven insights and emerging technologies.

**Desirable Skillsets:**

- Experience in the banking/finance domain is preferred.
