## Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to build the login, registration, and account experiences for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ users. You will build these experiences across phones, tablets, and TVs, and run experiments to improve them.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

- Build identity experiences for Android mobile and Android TV using Kotlin and the Android SDK.

- Design, build, and ship A/B tests and phased rollouts on login flows serving hundreds of millions of users.

- Build features behind feature flags and remote configuration so variants can be delivered, adjusted, and rolled back independently of the Android release train.

- Build telemetry to measure and monitor the success of each feature, and partner with product and data science on metrics, guardrails, and experiment readouts.

- Develop and maintain shared Android SDKs consumed by the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ application teams.

- Understand the internals of Android and how to debug and diagnose device issues.

- Maintain a high level of code quality with each feature delivery by including unit and integration tests, and perform regular code reviews to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

- Create and update documentation across the software development lifecycle, including integration guidance for partner application teams.

Qualifications:

- 5 years of relevant experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training or work experience

- Build Android mobile and Android TV experiences in Kotlin, with a strong command of the Android SDK, application lifecycle, and UI with Jetpack Compose and/or the View system

- Ship features behind feature flags or remote configuration, and run A/B tests or phased rollouts in a production application

- Build telemetry to measure and monitor the success of each feature

- Understand Android internals and how to diagnose device-specific issues

- Deliver features with a high level of code quality, including unit and integration tests

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners across product, data science, design, legal, and privacy
