## Description

This role sits in the Chemical Manufacturing & Control (CMC) area of GSK, which focuses on turning validated molecules into reliably manufactured, quality-assured medicines. As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be embedded in a team that uses AI to transform process development globally.

You will build in-silico process models and digital twin capabilities to foster process development of molecules. Your responsibilities include:

- PoC / PoV / MVP Delivery: Take ownership of high-priority business unit use cases from problem framing through to a working prototype, and form a defensible view on whether each should progress.

- AI-Native Engineering: Operate AI agent workflows for autonomous prototype delivery, and use AI coding assistants as the default mode of building.

- Customer Embedding & Handoff: Embed with business unit teams, attend standups, understand the domain, and package proven use cases for the Senior Solutions Engineer.

- Governance, Standards & Coaching: Begin Code Orange, Responsible AI, and Accountability Report conversations during prototyping, and contribute reusable agents and reference architectures to the organisation's pattern library.

The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack or AI/ML engineering experience, proficiency in Python and at least one of TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or similar, and experience with process modeling approaches.
