## Description

This role supports surgical teams at Intermountain Health LDS Hospital, focusing on patient transport, equipment organisation, and suite cleaning.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Transport patients to and from surgery, ensuring safe transfers.

- Maintain sterile techniques and assist with room turnover, including cleaning and preparing rooms for subsequent surgeries.

- Restock supplies, assist with anaesthesia equipment, and keep the department tidy.

- Handle specimen transport, including blood and blood products.

- Assist with procedures, such as organ or extremity holds, and open sterile supplies as needed.

**Requirements:**

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

- Completion of Basic Aseptic Technique class.

**Working Conditions:**

- Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 6:50 a.m.

- No on-call or weekend shifts required.

**Physical Demands:**

- Visual acuity to read labels and assess patient needs.

- Effective verbal communication and hearing for interactions with patients and providers.

- Manual dexterity for handling equipment and instruments.

- Ability to lift, bend, and move patients and supplies.

**Compensation:**

- Salary range: $17.86 - $23.21 per hour.
