## Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Account Manager to join our MMB team at Mercer in Hong Kong. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days of office work per week.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will handle accounts including designing insurance programs, marketing accounts to insurance carriers, proposing renewal terms to clients, and interacting with clients on their day-to-day service needs.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage renewals, new businesses, and expansion of existing business

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and other service team members

- Solicit and follow up on renewal information from clients

- Design, market, and negotiate client renewals and new business with insurance carriers

- Prepare proposals and attend client meetings to discuss renewal proposals

- Bind insurance terms as directed by clients and transmit binders in a timely manner

- Provide day-to-day service to clients, consult on inquiries about their insurance program, and advise on necessary changes

- Maintain client information, summarize insurance details, and prepare loss summaries and large loss reports

- Support client service executives on renewals and new business

Requirements:

- University degree in a related discipline or equivalent qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in the insurance broking space

- Commercial acumen and strong business sense with excellent negotiation skills

- Proven track record in client and vendor management

- Ability to mentor and grow teams

- Self-initiative and curiosity in the health and benefits sector

- Strong language capabilities in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

- Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office
