Keywords Studios Los Angeles is the premier hub for our Media and Entertainment service line. From our campus in sunny Burbank, we provide full-service audio post-production and content localization for the world’s most iconic entertainment leaders,including Netflix, Lionsgate, NBCU, and more,to help bring their stories to life and reach audiences worldwide.

As part of the global Keywords Studios network, we combine the boutique feel of a local creative studio with the massive reach of a worldwide organization. Our dedicated content localization team specializes in high-impact localization, including translation and subtitling, dubbing and voice-over, and linguistic quality assurance.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Manage and oversee live captioning and streaming projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

- Lead the configuration and deployment of streaming infrastructure, captioning tools, and platforms.

- Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and compliance with live captioning and subtitling regulations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real-time during live broadcasts.

- Develop and implement workflows for integrating live captions, transcripts, and translations with live-streamed content.

- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, freelancers, and captioning service providers.

**Requirements**

- Experience in live streaming technologies, including proficiency in live streaming platforms and encoders.

- Knowledge of RTMP, HLS, WebRTC, and other video streaming protocols.

- Experience with CDN services for optimized content delivery.

- Familiarity with server-side and client-side streaming architectures.

- Strong understanding of real-time captioning technologies, including stenography, CART, and automated speech recognition.

- Experience with captioning tools and knowledge of caption file formats.

- Proven ability to troubleshoot audio/video quality issues, latency, synchronization problems, and captioning delays.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards and country-specific live captioning regulations.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines.
