## Description

Abnormal AI is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Portal Platform team.

The team's mission is to uplevel the architecture across different portals, including the Customer Portal, End User portal, and Demo portal, focusing on enterprise-grade stability, security, and usability.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

- Design and execute platform-level software projects from conception through launch

- Build and maintain backend services and APIs for portal experiences

- Develop reusable frontend libraries, design systems, and developer tooling

- Own infrastructure concerns, including CI/CD pipelines and observability

- Drive frontend performance, accessibility, and quality standards

- Provide guidance and mentorship for junior team members

Requirements:

- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer

- Deep expertise in React and modern frontend architecture

- Strong backend proficiency in Python (Django) or TypeScript

- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD)

- Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction

- Experience mentoring engineers

- Strong communication skills

- Proven ability to balance technical debt with feature delivery

- Strong fundamentals in computer science

- BS degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice to Have:

- Familiarity with Abnormal AI's stack (AWS, K8, Python/Django, React, Postgres)

- Experience with AI development tools

- Large-scale web frontend applications

- Frontend build tools

- Micro-frontend architecture patterns

- Web security (OWASP top 10)
