Davies is looking for an experienced Loss Adjuster to join their growing Casualty team. The role involves investigating and handling Casualty Claims, liaising with insurers, policyholders, and brokers, and compiling evidence and documentation.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and brokers

- Investigate allocated claims in the field or from the desk

- Compile necessary evidence and documentation

- Prepare preliminary reports

- Determine policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum, and tactics

- Defend or negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits

- Correspond with parties to progress cases

- Investigate and handle cases according to client requirements

- Maintain proper reserves and keep updated on technical changes

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**

- Previous loss adjuster experience

- Experience investigating and handling Casualty Claims

- Knowledge of insurance and the insurance market

- Knowledge of legal principles, regulations, and Acts

- Good communication skills

- Excellent customer service

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Good planning and organisational skills

- Strong IT skills

- Full driver's licence essential
