## Description

We are seeking a part-time Band 6 Specialist Musculoskeletal Therapist to join our team. As a Specialist Musculoskeletal Therapist, you will be an active member of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality Musculoskeletal (MSK) services across two sites at St Helier Hospital and Jubilee Health Centre.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to further education and personal development. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a team, and have recent experience working in a Community-based MSK/OPP service (desirable but not essential).

Key responsibilities include:

- Being an active member of a team delivering high-quality MSK services

- Assisting with operational management and strategic development

- Further developing personal specialist practice

The post is permanent, part-time, and offers a salary of £45,953 to £54,254 per annum pro-rata.

**Requirements:**

- Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy/Osteopathy

- HPC registration or equivalent

- Evidence of CPD in MSK Physiotherapy

- Post-registration experience in MSK outpatients and Orthopaedic inpatients

- Experience in managing MSK conditions and operational management

- Specialist skills in assessing and managing complex MSK conditions, and providing manual and exercise therapy

**Desirable qualifications and experience:**

- Membership of the CSP/Osteopathy

- Working towards MACP membership or a recognised relevant Master's Degree in MSK

- Experience working in the NHS in the UK

- Experience of performance management of Physiotherapists and students
