## Description

We are seeking an Avfallsingenjör (Waste Engineer) to join our Avfall & Miljö (Waste & Environment) group within Business Unit Vattenfall Power Solutions. As a Waste Engineer, you will work on exciting and complex projects, primarily within nuclear power, focusing on waste management and environmental issues.

Your role will involve tasks such as:

- Developing, quality-assuring, and maintaining documentation

- Interpreting and evaluating regulatory requirements

- Conducting investigations

- Evaluating alternative processes for decommissioning

- Optimizing waste management

- Working with new nuclear power projects

You will be part of a team of eleven colleagues located across several cities, including Solna, Västerås, Gävle, Nyköping, and Oskarshamn. We offer a flexible work environment, opportunities for professional development, and a chance to contribute to significant projects in the energy sector.

To qualify, you have:

- Academic education or equivalent work experience

- Extensive experience in the energy or construction industry, particularly with large-scale projects

- Strong background in waste management issues

- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal

- Valid driver's license (B)

We value experience in areas such as chemistry, waste management (especially hazardous or nuclear waste), decommissioning, or licensing within nuclear power.
