## Description

We are seeking a Chief Engineer to own stakeholder engagement, product definition, technical road map planning, and design and development approach. This is a unique role requiring you to develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges, the capabilities of our radar engineering teams, and current and future radar technologies.

As a Chief Engineer, you will build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, customer stakeholders, and industry partners to gather insights, align objectives, and secure buy-in for the radar product you are responsible for.

You will drive radar architecture and product development strategies through understanding of technical tradeoffs, requirements and opportunities for innovation.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define a product strategy that will win in the marketplace by delivering differentiated value to our customers.

You will organize and prioritize the engineering efforts required to bring the product to market, working with functional engineering teams, and other product owners to optimize resource utilization.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years experience as a Chief Engineer, Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Engineer of land, maritime, or airborne radars or other RF sensors.

The candidate should have demonstrated understanding of radar system design, deep understanding of state-of-the-art radar technologies and radar for defense missions, solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges and risks.

The candidate should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in shaping strategic pursuits and developing technology roadmaps, experience with design and development of radar or other RF systems from concept to deployment, and graduate degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Software engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Travel 30% for customer, vendor, and internal collaboration.

Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
