## Description

Join 3M as a Procurement Specialist and play a crucial role in supporting the company's procurement activities.

**Job Summary:** As a Procurement Specialist, you will execute simple to moderate transactional buying activities for assigned countries, regions, or business areas. You will manage the purchase order lifecycle, maintain pricing and purchasing data, and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Execute simple to moderate transactional buying activities

- Manage the purchase order lifecycle from requisition to completion

- Maintain pricing and purchasing data accurately within applicable systems

- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve PO-related issues

- Perform purchasing reporting activities as required

- Meet daily productivity targets established by the Procurement Service Center Supervisor

- Resolve simple to moderate exceptions, including match exceptions and GR/IR issues

- Follow clearly defined procedures and sourcing guidelines in accordance with Sourcing Policy

- Ensure adherence to internal Procurement business rules and SOX controls

- Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives

- Support Procurement Service Center initiated events and 3M-wide activities

- Work flexible hours as needed to support global procurement requirements

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or any related field

- Typically 1-2 years of experience in sourcing or transactional procurement activities

- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required (additional languages may be required based on assignment)

- Strong customer service orientation with focus on quality

- Proficient research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

- Continuous improvement mindset
