## Description

The Staff Global Sourcing Manager, Energetics is the domain expert for the energetics commodities at Anduril Industries. This is a proactive, high-impact role in securing critical components, materials, and services that power Anduril's products.

The role involves developing new supplier and sourcing partnerships that can be incorporated into new and existing products to improve their technologies, cost, and quality.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and executing commodity strategies for energetics, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience

- Managing end-to-end responsibility for delivering quality parts on time and at the right cost

- Acting as the sourcing expert for energetics manufacturing

- Leading RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes for energetics

- Building and maintaining relationships with external Contract Manufacturing partners, focusing on continuity of supply, risk management, cost negotiations, and new product introduction

- Collaborating with the Engineering team and Contract Manufacturers to influence technical design specifications and customise product and manufacturing requirements

- Analysing quote submissions and making data-driven decisions based on total cost of ownership

- Working closely with cross-functional teams to support prototype requirements, execute build milestones, and lead sourcing activities

- Influencing Contract Manufacturers' manufacturing processes, capital expenditure, and technology decisions

- Negotiating key agreements with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms

- Providing strong technical direction within specific commodities and evaluating product strategy throughout the product lifecycle

- Managing and leading operations efforts to develop new and adapt existing technologies for Anduril

- Developing and executing commercial agreements that reflect project expectations

- Conducting regular technology reviews with executive staff and management

- Owning supplier performance management for respective commodities, including key delivery, quality, cost, and innovation metrics

- Acting as the primary escalation point for respective commodities

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field

- 10+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of energetics/missiles manufacturing and/or sourcing engineering

- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and relocate to Costa Mesa, CA if necessary

Preferred qualifications include:

- A Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering

- Previous experience in defence, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or a related industry

- Experience with total cost of ownership analysis and strategic sourcing

- Proven leadership and collaboration skills

- Fluency in multiple cross-functional areas

- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance

The salary range for this role is $191,000-$253,000 USD per year, with highly competitive equity grants and top-tier benefits.
