## Description

We are seeking an Academic Coach to join our HTeX - High Tech Elementary Explorer team in Point Loma, California.

As an Academic Coach, you will be responsible for ensuring that students with diverse needs have access to our general education curriculum. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our low student-teacher ratio and providing individualized attention to students.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with instruction, supervision, and tutorial activities for students with learning differences

- Work with students in small groups or one-on-one to provide support

- Monitor student progress and provide input for evaluation and parent conferences

- Administer and evaluate testing for general placement

- Establish rapport and meaningful relationships with referred students

- Perform clerical support duties, including typing and completing documents

Requirements:

- At least 60 units of college credits completed

- Experience in a school or learning environment preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to build relationships, evaluate alternatives, and create plans

This is an hourly position that can work variable hours up to 35 per week. The salary range is $20.60 to $25.11 per hour.
