## Description

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Bank) to join our team at Crossley Hose Care Home in Bradford. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will have day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, and ensuring high-quality personal care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit

- Responsible for issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping

- Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers of the teams

- Helping with training and supervision of new staff members

- Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses

- Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

- Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care

- Previous experience of the role and knowledge of its rewards and challenges

- Motivated, positive, with great interpersonal skills, and enjoy working in a close-knit team

- Clinical expertise is crucial in helping with CQC responsibilities
