## Description

The Warehouse Team Leader supports the Warehouse Manager and Supply Chain Manager in running the distribution hub and warehouse, including line managing warehouse delivery operatives and medical consumable packing operatives.

Key responsibilities:

- Line manage warehouse and delivery operatives, ensuring logistical service provision during opening hours

- Plan and allocate daily work to meet organisational requirements

- Maintain accurate stock records and rotate stock to prevent expiry

- Monitor quality of work and provide advice, guidance, and support as needed

- Authorise overtime and undertake recruitment and induction of new staff

- Manage disciplinary issues and undertake investigations as directed

The ideal candidate will have experience in stores/logistics/warehouse work, supervising staff, and driving larger vehicles.

Requirements:

- Full manual driving licence

- GCSE English and Maths C or above

- Computer skills in Windows and MS Office

- Ability to plan effective routes and maintain schedules

- People skills and emotional intelligence

Desirable qualifications and experience include forklift driver licencing, C1/D1 driving licence, and familiarity with inventory tracking systems.

The salary range for this role is £36,943 to £44,900 per year, on a permanent full-time contract.
