## Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented engineers responsible for building and maintaining Cloudflare's billing and payments infrastructure.

### About the Role

You will oversee the development of scalable, high-reliability financial infrastructure that handles everything related to Cloudflare's revenue. Your work will directly support billions in revenue and millions of customers while enabling new product launches across Cloudflare.

### Key Responsibilities

- Lead a team of skilled engineers to design and implement a next-generation financial infrastructure that ensures financial accuracy and seamless performance.

- Drive the execution of complex technical initiatives, ensuring our architecture is resilient, scalable, and future-proof.

- Foster a culture of proactive communication and continuous learning within the team.

- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, finance, data science, operations, and support departments to align technical decisions with business objectives.

### Requirements

- Experience leading a team or multiple teams of senior and staff engineers.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams, driving alignment, and clearly creating and communicating technical direction for large cross-company efforts.

- Comfortable leading and hiring a team that builds the backend systems and frontend parts of the product.

- Excel at planning, creating teams, and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability.

- Demonstrate a track record of leading a team including hiring, onboarding, and professional development.

### Nice to Have

- Experience building massive distributed systems.

- Experience leading teams working on areas of financial infrastructure, payments, billing, and data infrastructure.
