## Description

As a Material Handler at Porsche Cars North America, you will play a crucial role in the shipping, receiving, and inventory management of parts within the distribution center.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Receiving freight and accurately identifying, counting, and verifying parts

- Stocking parts based on part number and location

- Picking part orders using RF technology and packing labels

- Packing parts according to packing requirements

- Operating machinery such as forklifts and high-reach order pickers

- Maintaining clean and safe working areas

- Performing cycle counts and physical inventories as required

- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives

The pay rate for this role is $20.25 per hour. To qualify for this position, you will need:

- A high school diploma or GED equivalent

- At least two years of general warehouse or logistics experience

- Experience with mechanized equipment and forklift certification is preferred

- Basic computer proficiency, including exposure to parts information systems and MS Office

- Ability to operate hand-held RF-unit equipment

- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills

- Flexibility and a positive attitude

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels

- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
