## Description

We are seeking a Senior Associate, Project Manager to join our Always Audit Ready & Risk Management team. As a strategic and technically savvy Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical, analytical, and model projects across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

- Lead projects based on defined priorities, ensuring scope of deliverables and timelines are met

- Identify risks and issues and mitigate and/or escalate as needed

- Build and apply structured engagement models to translate complex goals into clear, actionable workstreams

- Navigate ambiguous or undefined areas with a proactive and strategic approach

- Collaborate with various stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables

- Effectively manage relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout project lifecycle

- Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills

- Apply technical and business understanding to engage meaningfully with development teams

- Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership

- Develop and maintain project and process artifacts

- Facilitate team ceremonies, including daily sprint stand-ups and retrospectives

- Apply project analytics agenda to drive change

The ideal candidate should:

- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, technical, and strategic role

- Have a proven ability to create and apply structure frameworks to drive cross-functional engagement and results

- Be comfortable operating in ambiguity and identifying problems and opportunities

- Have technical familiarity or hands-on exposure to cloud environments, multi-region architectures, or disaster recovery frameworks

- Experience tracking and coordinating infrastructure migrations and/or software development lifecycles

- Operate as a self-starter and continuously develop project, process, and technology skills

- Have a proven track record of project management

- Be highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

- Have strong problem-solving and influencing skills

- Have great analytical skills

- Be digitally curious, with a drive to learn more about the business context and tech platforms

- Have excellent time management skills and meet/exceed rigorous deadlines

- Have great communication and collaboration skills

- Enjoy collaborating with various value streams and senior stakeholders

- Have excellent customer service/relationship management skills

- Not be afraid to bring new ideas to the table and challenge the status quo

This role is designated as a hybrid position, requiring adherence to Capital One's hybrid policy regarding required on-site presence at your designated office location.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or military experience

- At least 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office or G-Suite

- At least 2 years of Technical Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3+ years of Technical Project Management experience

- Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
