## Description

We are seeking a Band 7 Cross-sectional (CT & MRI) CDC Radiographer to join our team at Wood Green Community Diagnostic Centre. As a Band 7 Radiographer, you will rotate across both CT and MRI modalities, provide senior clinical support, manage the work area when required, and offer professional advice and supervision to radiographers, students, and radiographic assistants.

The role involves delivering high-quality MRI and CT examinations, assessing imaging referrals, administering IV contrast, maintaining ILS competency, and providing an immediate response to clinical emergencies. You will also contribute to the development of radiology services, support audit, quality assurance, training, and service improvement.

The post holder will have opportunities to take on line management responsibilities, including rostering, appraisal, staff development, performance management, and sickness absence management.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering high-quality MRI and CT examinations

- Assessing imaging referrals and acting as an IR(ME)R Operator

- Administering IV contrast and maintaining ILS competency

- Providing senior clinical support and leadership within the department

- Reviewing image quality and identifying urgent or unexpected findings

- Supporting audit, equipment quality assurance, protocol review, staff training, and service development

Requirements:

- BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography

- Current HCPC registration

- Significant experience in MRI and CT

- Evidence of working in the NHS and CPD

- Excellent communication skills and good computer skills

Desirable qualifications:

- PgC in CT/MR

- Maintained ILS competency

- Previous line management experience

- Experience in training and development of radiographers
